I developed Explore Work to help individuals and organisations make changes that improve their work and wellbeing.

My coaching and consultancy brings together behaviour change expertise, tools and techniques I’ve used as an occupational therapist, educator and researcher, the result of over a decade spent working, training, and immersed in the art and science of how we learn, grow and change.

The Explore Work philosophy

I believe meaningful, constructive, sustainable change only happens when:

  • we feel heard, seen, and understood
  • we feel safe, appreciated and supported
  • we shift to exploring, learning, trying out
  • we look inside and outside ourselves.

It takes time to process and put in place what we need to create our ideal working life or organisation.

But by developing our explorer mindset we allow ourselves to be present, compassionate, curious. We claim our right to bring about change that works for us.

When we do this, work becomes a place we experience personal as well as professional growth. And while there aren’t always quick fixes, together we can find quick wins.

These include:

  • Practical tweaks that become clear when we step outside our day-to-day routine.
  • ‘Ah ha!’ moments when we’re introduced to new perspectives and techniques.
  • Insight that comes when we make time to think and talk about what matters to us.
  • The different route we go down because we gave ourselves permission to try.
